Please stop.įor everyone else, look in to OPlayer. It’s clear you have zero understanding of UI or quality testing. Release the old version and promise us you’ll never work on apps again. Honestly, to the team that’s destroying this app, please stop. This is such a dumb mistake that the old app figured out literally a decade ago. If the show has a long name, you won’t be able to read the episode title. The app use to smartly group TV shows and shorten the title so that you could read the episode’s name. However, it is clear whoever is making this app knows NOTHING about UI’s and doesn’t even use the app themselves. Under movies it shows EVERYTHING and under Video Groups is where the grouping is done. Too bad because it was the reigning champ of video players for so long.Īfter over a month of nothing, the developer released an update today that visually did nothing. I don't know how to use an app on a touch device that doesn't respond to touch. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but to no avail. Now the app no longer responds to my touch. So now I have no way to get files off the main screen, no way to group episodes of a tv show together, and I have to hunt and hunt through all these video files to find what I'm looking for, but boy.that empty music section sure looks fancy. This does not feel like an update, but a way to turn the video player into a music player. Also, when I tried to just put a tv show into its own playlist, they are all kinds of out of order and no way to organize them. I don't like the new playlist system because as someone else said, the main screen is still wicked cluttered. I never really understood why there was a music option anyway to be honest. Now, TV shows are no longer grouped together, and my video tab just looks like a huge mess! It seems like in this update you spent too much time focusing on how the music part works, especially for a VIDEO player. Update: my previous issue was resolved, but unfortunately, I really REALLY wish I could revert back to before I updated to this latest version (3.2.0).
